Salon Owner
Since high school, I remember getting my hair done and wondering, "How do you learn to do hair?" It seemed like the coolest job in the world. Those thoughts were pushed aside, and I attended college with my peers. Four years later, I graduated, got married soon after, and still didn't know "what I wanted to do when I grew up." A dear family friend owned a salon and encouraged me to go to cosmetology school and work with her. A year later, I was certified and working behind the chair. I spent seven years working in Pelham, then ten more in Hoover before opening Creekside Salon in Old Town Helena in 2021.
I love what I do! It's art, science, and therapy. Every day is different, and I get to meet and form relationships with so many interesting people. I specialize in color (reds and vivids are my favorite), color corrections, and extensions. There is nothing more exciting than giving someone their dream hair.
